Chili (24 June 1971)

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baumgartner and daughter, Mary Lynn, are spending several weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lindow, and are visiting with other relatives and friends in the area.

Mrs. Max Mahoney entered Memorial Hospital in Neillsville last Wednesday as a medial patient. It was expected that she would remain there for a week to 10 days.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Lee and family of Luxembourg spent the weekend at the paternal Wenzel Lee home.

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Kauffman attended a Snyder family picnic Sunday afternoon at Greenwood Park. Family members present, in addition to the Kauffmans, were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rohloff, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schlinsog, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Balcier, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Horn, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Bezlyk, and Mrs. Chris Boe and son.

Miss Bonnie Rollins, who will be married soon to Darryl Laschen of Loyal, was honored with a pre-nuptial shower Sunday afternoon at the Verlan Rollins home. Miss Rollins is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rollins of Rt. 2 Spencer.

Dan Kirk of St. Paul, Minn., is spending some time with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jennings and visiting with other relatives in the area.
