Mrs. Wm. Goeke underwent an operation at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, last Thursday.

Matt Baumgartner is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Ampe and family of Rudolph were Sunday visitors at the Theo Hium home.

Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Erickson and family of Madison spent the weekend at the Tom Erickson home here and at the John Wendt home at Owen.

Mrs. Albert Franz will entertain the Braun Settlement Ladies Aid at her home on Wednesday, Feb. 13th.

Mrs. Anna Johnson moved last week into the former Eggett residence, which she recently purchased.

Walter Swieso spent Saturday and Sunday with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thiede at Arcadia.

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Severson and Mrs. August Stabnow drove to Eau Claire Saturday and visited Mrs. Vander Lindgren at Mt. Washington Sanitarium.

Mrs. Joe Kohlnhofer returned Sunday from Milwaukee, where she helped care for her mother, who was ill.

Mrs. Humber Schmitz returned from St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, on Saturday.

Word was received here by Mr. and Mrs. Glen drew that their son Ronald, who is with the Navy, had the misfortune to break his leg while playing football at Norfolk, Va. last week. If any of his friends would care to write him, his address is S.A. Ronald F. Drew 427-37-23 U.S.N. 4th Div. U.S.S. Merrimac A.O.-37 Fleet Post Office, New York, N.Y.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Denk, Mr. and Mrs. Al Bushman and Mr. and Mrs. Dalbert Mondloch visited Mrs. Hubert Schmitz at her home Monday evening.

Mrs. Mondloch of Spencer and Ronald Mondloch of Mauston visited their daughter and sister, Mrs. Hubert Schmitz, at her home Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Vollrath spent Wednesday at Madison.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Heck and two sons visited Sunday at the Vern Severson home.

Mrs. Ralph Thomas and three little daughters of Loyal visited Tuesday at the August Stabnow home.

Albert Schwarze underwent an operation at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Sunday evening.

Hubert Kuehn, who underwent an operation at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, returned home Tuesday.

Mrs. Clarence Hunt is receiving treatment at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Erhard Lindner visited John Bloomfield Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Mrs. John Kaltinger underwent an operation at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield last Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Funke of New Holstein spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.J. Amundson.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Tieman and daughter carol visited at the Stanton Martenson home at Colby on Wednesday of last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Jolivette and baby of St. Paul spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jolivette. Norbert was the speaker on Sunday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Pabich Jr. and family left Monday for Texas, where they will make their home.

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Gotz and son Bruce of Pittsville and Mrs. Hugh Severson and Carol spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Christ Keiner.

Wm. Sonderegger, who has been a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield for the past few months, following a truck accident, returned home last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Wuethrich of Rio and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Benzine and sons Stephen and Stewart of Columbus spent last week Wednesday at the home of Mrs. John Wuethrich.

Mrs. Walter Swieso returned Sunday from Milwaukee, after spending two weeks with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pfeifer and family and getting acquainted with her new granddaughter Mary Lynn, who was born Jan. 16th at St. Joseph's Hospital, Milwaukee.

JoAnn Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Peterson, entered St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Monday evening and underwent an appendix operation.

Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Schwarze of Hayward are visiting friends here.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Neville of Neillsville visited Sunday at the Arleigh Syth home.

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Peterson were Saturday evening visitors at the Erhard Lindner home.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dehne of Colby and Mr. and Mrs. Casper Shober spent Wednesday evening at the Erhard Lindner home.

Mrs. Joe Kohlnhofer and Casper Shober left last week Sunday for Milwaukee to visit their mother, who is ill. Casper returned home Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Seibold and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze and family visited Sunday evening at the Ernest Vollrath home.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ramin and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dallman and family spent a week ago Sunday at the Ernest Vollrath home.

Relatives helped Jennie Kocher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Kocher, celebrate her 6th birthday at her home Monday evening.
