Perkins, Chalmer (3 DEC 1884 - 1 APR 1952)

Chalmer Perkins, 68, passed away at his home in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) at 12:20 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 1952, after a year's illness.

Tentative funeral arrangements are set for Friday, April 4, at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church, with Rev. Lee Holmes, pastor, officiating. The body will repose at the Stabnow Funeral Home until the funeral.

Mr. Perkins was born at Jefferson, Iowa on Dec. 3, 1884. Here he received his education in the public schools. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

He was united in marriage to Alice Corey on Sept. 3, 1912 at Omaha, Neb.

Mr. Perkins barbered for 47 years, the last 22 years in Greenwood. He sold his shop to Carl Friedel in April 1951.

He is survived by his wife, two brothers, Chauncey in California and William in Minneapolis. His parents preceded him in death.
