Brooks, Vivian (21 JUN 1916)

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Potter returned Saturday afternoon from their wedding trip in Iowa. They were united in marriage on June 21st at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Brooks at Lynn. The bride, Miss Vivian Brooks, was attended by her sister, Miss Hazel Brooks, and the groom by his brother, Harlan Potter. The bride wore a gown of white georgette crepe and carried white roses and lilies of the valley. Her bridesmaid wore blue crepe de chien and carried carnations.

Mrs. Potter is very well known here as she is a graduate of the Neillsville High School and a young lady of many splendid qualifications. She taught school since her graduation and all who know her have been won by her pleasing personality. Mr. Potter is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Potter of the town of York and is a young farmer who combines intelligence and industry in his operations, which combination is certain to make him eminently successful in life. Mr. and Mrs. Potter expect to take up housekeeping on the groom’s farm in York in a short time.
