Perushek, Pauline 10 (JAN 1882 - 17 AUG 1952)

Mrs. Ludwig Perushek, nee Pauline Stupeca, was born Jan. 10, 1952 in Sodrazica, Yugoslavia. She came in this country in 1906, and on Jan. 26?, 1906 was married to Ludwig at Ely, Minn. They lived at Ely for 14 years before coming to Willard (Clark Co., Wis.).

She was a member of the K.S.K.J. Lodge, Christian Mothers Society, Altar and Rosary Societie.

Mrs. Perushek passed away at her home near Tioga on Sunday, Aug. 17, 1952, following an illness of one year.

A Requiem Mass was read at Holy Family Church, Willard, on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 1952. The Rev. Father Augustine Svet officiated. She was laid to rest in the parish cemetery.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: Ludwig Perushek of Duluth, Minn.; Mrs. Geo. (Mary) Shumate, Pauline Perushek and Anne Perushek of Chicago, Mrs. Duane (Angeline) Schultz of Neillsville; Charles and Frank Perushek at home; Tony of Neillsville; one brother, Frank Stupeca of Sodrazica, Yugoslavia. She was preceded in death by one son, Joseph, five brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers were her sons and sons-in-law, Ludwig, Frank, Charles, Tony Perushek, and Duran Schultz and George Shumate.

The honorary pallbearers were Joe and Tony Tolaney, Geo. And Frank Laken.

Persons from out of town attending the rites included Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Perushek of Duluth, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. George Shumate, Mrs. Anne and Miss Pauline Perushek of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Tolaney of Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Perushek and Mrs. Mary Perushek of Ely, Minn.
