Lee, Elaine R. (9 SEP 1952)

Miss Elaine R. Lee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lee, Thorp, and Theodore A. Suda, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage on Tuesday morning, Sept. 9, 1952 in St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp. The Rev. Father Piekarski officiated.

The bride wore a gown of nylon net and lace over satin featuring a snug fitting bodice of lace and a net skirt detailed with panels of lace. Her fingertip veil cascaded from a cap trimmed with seed pearls and she carried a shower bouquet of red roses and small white mums.

JoAnn Kitzhaber, Greenwood, who served as maid of honor, and Virginia Bogumill, Owen, and Amelia Pastell, Waukegan, Ill., bridesmaids, wore lime green frocks of nylon net and lace over taffeta, and matching coronet headpieces. Each carried a nosegay bouquet of pale yellow gladioli, gold colored mums and tea roses.

James Suda was his brother's best man, and John Lee, brother of the bride, and Lawrence Suda, another brother of the groom, were groomsmen.

The bride's mother wore a navy suit with matching accessories and the groom's mother was attired in a blue two-piece suit with the same color accessories. Each had a corsage of red roses.

A dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents after the service.

The couple will reside on the groom's farm when they return from a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin.

Guests at the wedding were from Waukegan, Ill., Marshfield, Greenwood, Hannibal, Willard, Owen, Sheldon, Rhinelander, Loyal, Irma, and King.
