Rude, Sena (20 NOV 1889 - 27 JAN 1953)

Mrs. George Rude, nee Sena Gilbertson, was born near Argyle on Nov. 20, 1889. She was baptized and confirmed at the Adams Lutheran Church, near Blanchardville.

She was married to George Rude at Blanchardville. Two sons were born to this union, Orlando and Victor.

The Rude family lived on a farm northeast of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) for some time, later moving to Neillsville, where Mr. Rude was Register of Deeds. They moved to Madison a few years ago.

Mrs. Rude passed away at Madison on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1953, after a week's illness. Funeral services were held at the Adams Lutheran Church at Blanchardville on Friday, Jan. 30th. She was laid to rest in the church Cemetery. The Rev. Anderson of Argyle officiated.

Mrs. Rude is survived by her husband, two sons, two grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Maurice Ulsrud, Woodford, Wis.; Mrs. Thomas Erickson, Greenwood; two brothers, Oliver Gilbertson, Rockford, and Carol Gilbertson, Argyle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
