Sotak, Donna Mae (Wicke) (24 APR 1947 - 29 JAN 2014)

Donna Mae Sotak, 66, Owen, died on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, where she had resided since 2008. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The former Donna Wicke was born on April 24, 1947 in Medford to Norman and Joyce (Bosteder) Wicke.

On August 21, 1965 in Gilman, she married David Sotak, who survives. They resided in the Donald area until 1976 when they moved to Ladysmith.

Prior to her affliction with Parkinson's Disease, she enjoyed time in her garden, tending to her flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and friends.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her father, Norman Wicke of Ladysmith; two children, Denise Schwarz of Owen and Douglas Sotak of Green Bay; five siblings, Ronald (Diane) Wicke of Jump River, Robert (Darlene) Wicke and Debra James, both of Hannibal, John (Lu) Wicke of Princeton, Minn., and Lori (Bill) Stine of Bruce; seven grandchildren, Steven (Dannie Zarins) Sotak, Ashley Sotak, Kevin (Stephanie Seelig) Baughman, Mona Clark, Randall (Brittney Arnesault) Baughman, Billie (Wendall) Zeiset and Sierra Schwarz; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Wicke, and a sister, Nancy Wicke.
