Kilmer, Annie V. (13 JAN 1952 – 4 MAR 2014)

Annie V. Kilmer, 62, Neillsville, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at her home. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 8, at the Pine Grove Mennonite Church. Interment was in the Pine Grove Mennonite Cemetery in Granton.

Annie Viola Kemp was born on Jan. 13, 1952, in Tuscola, Ill., the daughter of Herman and Amanda (nee Otto) Kemp. She graduated from Arcola High School in 1970. She married Aaron B. Kilmer on Feb. 16, 1974, in Chesterville, Ill. She was a member of the Pine Grove Mennonite Church in Granton.

She is survived by her husband, Aaron; five children, Doyle Kilmer, Neillsville, Crystal (Evan) Martin, Lost Creek, W.V., Gary Kilmer, Versailles, Mo., Brenda (Duane) Martin, Narvon, Pa., and Nevan Kilmer, Neillsville; six grandsons; her mother, Amanda Kemp, Arcola, Ill.; and eight siblings, Katie (Harold) Dampier, Plainfield, Noah (Jayne) Kemp, Neoga, Ill., Rose (Danny) Clapp, Kansas, Ill., Amanda (Keith) Gove, Jefferson City, Mo., Mary (Randy) Dierkens, Mattoon, Ill., Samuel (Jeri) Kemp, Hosts Summit, Mo., Betty (Mitchell) Evans, Lafayette, Tenn., and Nancy (Ken) Byard, Arcola, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Kemp, and three infant brothers, Jacob, Chris and Delbert.

The Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, assisted the family with arrangements.
