Barbara Ann Angel (nee Jensen), born Aug. 9, 1931 in Plato Center, IL, passed away March 2, 2014 in her rural Granton home. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend - a loving, generous person. She enjoyed old movies, loved animals, followed politics, and was proud of her culinary skills in her role as homemaker and mother. She loved doing genealogy and uncovering family history with her niece Kim Miels. She will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 65 years, Frank Angel, Sr., daughters Colleen Angel (Stevens Point), Bonnie Christner (Marshfield), Mrs. Karen (Bruce) Stanley (Marshfield), son Frank (Donna) Angel, Jr. (Granton); grandchildren Daniel Berger (Plover), Michael Christner (Wausau), Adam (Jana) Christner (Nuremburg, Germany), Mrs. Julianne (Carl) Hayenga (Schofield); sister Mrs. Mary (Jim) Bennett (Walla Walla, WA), brother Joseph Jensen (Elgin, SC) and many nieces and nephews.

Although Barbara was the eldest child, she was predeceased by her parents, Louie and Gladys Jensen, sisters Aloha Causwell, Sandra Baker, Sally Swopes, and brother Jack Jensen.

Memorial service/party/celebration of life and luncheon will be held at Wildwood Park Pavilion at the Chicago Northwest station in Marshfield, Saturday March 8, 2014 from 11:00 am-2:00 pm. Cards of condolence/comfort may be sent to Frank Angel, Sr. N5524 Pine Lane Ave., Granton, WI 54436.
