August Rahm, 84, formerly of route 2, Spencer, died at the Bethel Convalescent Home in Arpin where he had resided for the past two years on Sunday evening, Sept. 17.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, at the Jasperson Funeral Home in Spencer with the Rev. A. M. Moldenhauer, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church of Loyal officiating. Burial was made in the Veefkind Cemetery.

Mr. Rahm was born on March 7, 1883, in the town of Sherman, Clark County and had resided there his entire life. He married Hattie Schroeder, who preceded him in death in 1941, took place August 9, 1913, in the town od Sherman.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Alma) Housterbrink, Minocqua; Mrs. Marvin (Emily) Sutliff, Akron, Ohio; and Mrs. Walter (Ada) Thiede, Marathon; two sons, Walter, Wilkerson, Indiana; and William, Spencer, 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers, and four sisters.
