Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pagel Sr. visited at the Mr. and Mrs. Gust Gorsegner home last Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Joe Reichert called on Mrs. Emil Welzien on Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Dix, Greg, Jeff and Scott of Menomonee, Mich. Spent last week at the Art Stewart home. They all attended the Stewart - Sweda wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis St. Angelo of Frederic, Wis. spent the weekend at the Hanford Anderson home, while Mr. and Mrs. Anderson were at the Packer - Steeler game at Green Bay. Jeff Anderson of Madison spent the weekend at his home.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Soderberg and family of Marshfield spent Sunday at the Pat Soderberg and Louis Badzinski homes.

Mrs. Bernard Schmidt and Larry of Hudson, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nesley of Minneapolis, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Nucicles and family of La Crosse, Wis. all attended the Stewart - Sweda wedding and visited relatives and friends.

St. Martha's Circle of St. Bernard's will hold a bake sale Friday, Sept. 2 at the Farmer's Store beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jarrell of Dearborn, Mich. spent the past week vacationing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wyczawski of Stanley, and also at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Val Wyczawski.

Miss Macy Badzinski returned to Eau Claire Sunday evening after spending the weekend at the Louis Badzinski home.

Miss Alice Schmidt of Hudson attended the wedding and visited at the Art Stewart home on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wyczawski and daughter Louis and son Stan of Dearborn, Mich. Are spending a week's vacation at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wyczawski and also visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Val Wyczawski.

Mrs. Hollis Decker called on Mrs. Charles Ramberg recently at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Demo and Jerry, Mr. Elmer Johnson and Mrs. Esther Narriner of Sparta, Wis. all attended the Stewart, Sweda wedding and visited relatives on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stigen of Withee, Mrs. Bertha Dudansky and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herman spent Wednesday sightseeing in northern Wisconsin and spent some time visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Witt in Glidden, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Broeren and family of Champaign, Ill. Spent Friday afternoon and evening with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Cook. They left Saturday morning to visit Wayne's brother and family, Capt. And Mrs. Quentin Broeren at Minot, N.D.

Bethel Leigh Hallangener, born to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hallanger Jr. of Addison, Ill. Grandparents are the Kenneth Lindquist's and Harold Hallanger Sr., she also has a brother, Hans Hallanger.

Mrs. Victoria Wilcenski of Gilman and Miss Daren DeSandra of Chicago spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herman.

Those that visited at the Edmund Cook home Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Graham of Holman, Mrs. Jeff Frazee of Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Winkler of Cadott, Mrs. Henry Huls and Larry Hampton and children Jill and Barry of Thorp.

Mrs. Bruno Lato and daughter Dorothy returned home on Saturday after spending the past week in Colorado. Their trip include a city tour of Denver, a trip through the Rocky Mountains, a visit to the Wax Museum, Denver Museum of Natural History and the state capitol. They also spent some time in Boulder, Colorado visiting relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pagel of Elk Mound, Wis. called at the Louis Pagel Sr. home Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Jacobson of Stanley visited at the Edmund Cook home on Sunday evening. Others that called were Florence Hilbo and Bernie Rusch.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Burzynski and son Kevin visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Pawlak in Eau Claire on Friday evening.

Miss Patricia Lato left on Monday for Port Washington where she has accepted a teaching position for the coming year.

Mrs. Hilma Ramberg, Mrs. Emma Wendt and Mrs. Minnie Ehlert of Wis. Rapids called on the Louis Pagel home Tuesday afternoon, and also visited Mrs. Dalia Telford.

Mrs. Roger Olejniczak of Rochester, Minn. Visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Burzynski on Wednesday and with Mrs. Eugene Raciborski on Friday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Anton Cieciora and Mrs. Peter Lewien were Sunday afternoon guests at the Bruno Lato home.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pagel Sr. visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Pagel Jr. at Stanley Sunday afternoon and also took in the parade.

Mrs. Rich Boie and children Kay, Kurt and Karl, Mrs. Clara Ebben, and Mrs. Vollie Brandsness of Thorp, Mrs. Myrtle Sneen of Stanley and Mrs. Vella Schreiber of Eau Claire surprise Mrs. Jim Sneen with a noon luncheon at her home on Friday to help her celebrate her birthday. They were accompanied home by Miss Julie Sneen who spent the weekend with her aunt and uncle, the Rich Boie's.

Frank Mamjek and Mrs. Estelle Zukowski visited Sunday afternoon at the Stanley Mamayek home.

Mrs. Bruno Lato left Monday for Milwaukee where she will visit relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohn spent Friday afternoon at the Jerome Hansen home at Marshfield, Wis., and they also visited the Ray Kaz home in the evening.

Mrs. Henry Huls and Mrs. Eunice Jacque visited at the Leonard Larson home in Stanley on Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Benzschawel and family of Maple Lake, Minn., visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Benzschawel and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohn and Luverne Fenstermacher took Mae Van Gorder to her home in Greenwood Sunday evening and visited at the Brown home.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kaczmarek and children spent Sunday afternoon in Hawkins with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Novak.

Mr. and Mrs. James Petranovich and boys spent a few days in Chicago and attended the funeral of his brother, George Petranovich.

Mrs. Al Bertram and children Nancy and daughters of Milwaukee spent the past week at the Felix Mroz home. Mr. Clarence Mroz accompanied them back Friday on business.

Mr. and Mrs. Norm Siedling and family of Chippewa Falls were Monday visitors at the Delton Ebben home.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bogumill of Largo, Fla. And Miss Cathy Callahan of Wheaton, Ill. Spent a few days with Mrs. Leon Bogumill and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Andy Burzynski and son of Chicago are spending their vacation in Thorp and Stanley with relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Dubicki and daughter Marilyn spent Friday in Rochester, Minn. Visiting at the Chris Price home.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Benzschawel and children, Patricia and Stevie, of Maple Lake, Minn. Spent the weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Benzschawel, and other relatives.

Frank Mamajek and Mrs. Estelle Zukowski visited Sunday evening at the Robert Zukowski home.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bogumill and family of Marshfield spent Sunday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Leon Bogumill.

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Baginski and daughter Sandy left for Chicago after spending some time at the Mike Niedzwiecki home and surrounding area.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schoenberger of St. Paul, Minn., Frank Benzschawel and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Benzschawel visited at the Jos. Benzschawel home on Sunday evening.

Mrs. Lucy Manicki of Hartland is spending her vacation at Tom Polnaszek's home, and other relatives.

A surprise birthday party was held at the Mike Niedzwiecki place for Mrs. Marie Baginski, those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nowobielski and family, Mr. Henry Nowobielski and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Nowobielski and boys, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Rademacher and family, Mrs. Catherine Nowobielski, Mr. Alex Baginski and daughter Sandy of Chicago.

Mrs. Rudy Wenzel and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wenzel and family of Marshfield were Sunday visitors at the Frances Rasmussen home.

Mr. and Mrs. William Jacques and daughter Kim visited at the Leonard Larson home in Stanley on Sunday.
