Izydorek, Raeleen M. (21 JAN 1967)

St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp, was the scene for the marriage of Raeleen Mary Izydorek and Robert Wayne Cloutier on Saturday, Jan. 21st, 1967. Rev. Francis Brockman performed the eleven a.m. Nuptial High Mass and marriage ceremony. Marcy Badzinski sang "Ave Maria" and "Mother at Your Feet We're Kneeling."

Parents of the couple are Mr. Raymond V. Izydorek, Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin J. Cloutier, Minneapolis.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a floor length bridal gown of Angu mist taffeta, styled with long tapered sleeves and a scoop neckline, complementing the fitted lace bodice. The bouffant skirt was highlighted by a court train of taffeta featuring an insert of lace. Pearl edged loops of lace fashioned her cloche, securing a bouffant veil of silk illusion. Her bouquet consisted of a lovely bridal cascade of eucharis lilies and forever roses.

Miss Sandee Izydorek, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Diane Badzinski, Twyla Herman and Sandy Baures, all friends of the bride. They wore floor length sheaths of white crepe, fashioned with an Empire bodice of red velvet. Bateau necklines and elbow length sleeves complemented by a flattering ruffle, highlighted the slim silhouette. A back panel fell to the hemline. A petal cloche of white velvet topped by a blush veil in red, and white fur muffs with red velvet roses, with red velvet streamers, competed their attire.

Cindy Weber, niece of the bride, was flower girl, wearing a dress similar to the bride's.

Don Ray Izydorek, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were: Fran Flatten, Norm Crosby, friends of the groom, and Tom Weber, brother-in-law of the bride. Ushers were: Ted and Tom Hoffman, friends of the couple.

A dinner was held at St. Bernard's Church Hall, and a reception followed at the Thorp Funeral Home Chapel. Irene Schmidt and Jeri Papierniak cut the wedding cake and Janice Penk was in charge of the guest book.

The bride's mother witnessed her daughter's wedding wearing a Nile green, brocaded suit with black accessories, and the groom's mother wore a gold lace suit with green accessories. Both mothers woere a corsage consisting of red roses and eucharis lilies.

The bride is a 1965 graduate of Thorp High School. The groom is a 1963 graduate of St. Louis Park High School is a mechanic with Northwest Orient airlines.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Cloutier will make their home at 7740 4th Ave., S., Richfield, Minn.
