United in marriage at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 12 at the United church of Christ, Greenwood, were Sherri J. Wehrmann, Alexandria, VA and David W. Stebbins, Alexandria, VA.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wehrmann, Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stebbins II, Brunswick, Georgia.

Reverend Larry Davis officiated at the service and Judy Haslow, Kelly Haslow and Bonnie Weyer were guitarists and singers, accompanied by Julie Feldt on the organ.

Accompanied to the altar by her father, she was seen in an ivory poly-chiffon empire waist gown with pleated skirt, tatted lace surrounded the edge of the skirt and sleeves, with an ivory fedora, front face net and back netted bow.  She carried two long-stemmed yellow roses and two long-stemmed white carnations.

Miss Linnea Johnson, Arlington, VA, attended the bride as maid of honor.  Bridesmaid was Miss Myrna Pecunia, Alexandria, VA and Miss Jeannie Stebbins, Brunswick, Georgia, sister of the groom, was junior bridesmaid.

They were attired in peach polyester, empire waist dresses with pleated skirts and spaghetti straps and chiffon capelets.  They carried on long-stemmed yellow rose and one long stemmed white carnation.

James Comings, Arlington, VA, attended the groom as best man.  Groomsmen were Charles Stebbins III, Alexandria, VA, brother of the groom and Kirk Haslow, Loyal, nephew of the bride.

Performing ushering duties were Russell Haslow and James Treichel.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Loyal American Legion Hall.

The new Mrs. Stebbins is a 1971 graduate of Loyal High School, and is employed as a cashier at the American Finance Company in Arlington, Va.

Mr. Stebbins is a graduate of Wakefield High School, Arlington, VA and attended the University of South Carolina.  He is employed as a fireman-paramedic in Arlington, VA.

The couple will make their new home at 300 Wesmond Drive, Alexandria, VA
