Schlinkert, Karen (Marriage - 19 August 1972)
Mrs. T. C. Schlinkert of Neillsville received a telephone call from her
granddaughter, Karen, and was introduced to her new grandson, Paul John Lawton,
of Phoenix, Ariz. The couple was married August 19, in a 10:30 a.m. ceremony at
Ridgewood Lutheran Church, New Jersey.
The newlyweds are flying back to Tucson, Ariz., where they will make their home.
Both are enrolled at the university there.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Dorthy Schlinkert and the late Herbert
Schlinkert, son of Mr. T. C. Schlinkert. Friends and relatives who attended the
wedding came from La Crosse and Mt. Horeb, Crystal Lake and Crete, Ill., Tucson,
Ariz., and Ohio.
