Becker, JoAnn M. (23 APR 1966)

Sacred Heart Church, Mondovi, Wis., was the scene for the wedding of JoAnn Marie Becker and Edward G. Milawski on Saturday, April 23rd, 1966. Father Hilliery Simmons performed the ten a.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Duane A. Becker, Eleva, Wis., and Mrs. And Mrs. Edward Milawski, Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white delustered satin gown styled with fitted bodice, Alencon lace scalloped in stand up effect at the neckline and long fitted sleeves. The princess line skirt had Alencon lace appliques at each side and full cathedral train with lace appliques. Lace flower outlined with seed pearls held her three-tier fingertip veil of illusion. Her bouquet consisted of red roses.

Miss Marlene Szymanski, friend of the bride, was maid of honor, wearing a floor length dress of chiffon orchid fashioned with scoop neckline and elbow length sleeves. Venice lace complemented the empire waistline. A flowing panel from the waistline graced the sheath skirt. Miss Kathy Komro, friend of the bride, and Miss Nancy Becker, sister of the bride, were bridesmaids, wearing dresses identical to the maid of honor's in pink. A French bow held their bustle veils in harmonizing color and each carried boquets of carnations and red roses.

Joseph Milawski, cousin of the groom, was best man, and groomsmen were Duane Becker, brother of the bride, and Larry Urban. Al Ciolkosz and Gerald Becker ushered.

A reception was held in the church dining room.

The mother of the bride was attired in a 2 piece powder blue dress with beige accessories and the groom's mother wore a royal blue 2-piece dress with pink accessories.

The new couple will make their home at 5779 S. Packard Ave., Cudahy, Wis.
