Tomczak, Kathleen A. (21 MAY 1966)

Miss Kathleen Ann Tomczak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tomczak, became the bride of Thomas Allan Geissler, Chippewa Falls, May 21, 1966, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman. Father John Dzurko performed the one p.m. ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and chose a luxurious floor length bridal gown of rosepoint lace, fashioned with long traditional tapered sleeves and a scalloped Sabrina neckline. The storybook skirt featured cascades of lace tiers encircling the bouffance. Her bouffant veil was secured to a crown enhanced with pearl arches, and she carried white roses.

Josephine Tomczak, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Betty Geissler, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. They wore floor length gowns of light blue sheer nylon tricot over rustling acetate taffeta, styled with scooped neckline and short set in sleeves with velveteen ribbons around their waists. They had light blue rosebud hats.

Flower girls were Donna Tomczak, sister of the bride, and Patty Hanson, cousin of the bride. Donna wore a white floor length dress of organza, with white netting and the headpiece was a white veil on a crown of pearls and sequins. She carried a miniature flower basket. Patty wore a light blue floor length nylon lace frosted with sheer nylon rustling taffeta and the headpiece was a blue veil on a crown of pearls and sequins, and she carried a miniature flower basket.

Dennis Schindler, a nephew of the groom, was best man, and groomsman was Joe Tomczak, Jr., brother of the bride.

A reception for 400 guests was held at Rainbow Gardens, where a dance was also held.

The couple will make their home on a farm in Tilden, Wis.
