Dux, Sharon (21 June 1969)

Miss Sharon Jane Dux, West Allis and Darrel Joseph Counard, Milwaukee, exchanged wedding vows at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 21.

Pastor William Humlie officiated. Mrs. Kenneth Voss, Loyal, was the organist and soloist was L. M. Moldenhauer, Wausau, who sng "Wedding Prayer" and :The Lord's Prayer."

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Dux, route 2, Loyal; and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Counard, Milwaukee.

The bride given in marriage by her father was seen in a white chantilace and nylon organza gown with detachable lace train. Her three tiered bouffant veil was attached to a pearl and Crystal crown. She carried a cascade arrangement of white roses, Stephanotis ivy with an orchid in the center.

Mrs. Richard Rhode, Greenwood, was the matron of honor; Miss Judy Dux, Loyal, Miss Lola Counard, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Ronald Brandt, Oconomowoc, were bridesmaids.

The aides were seen in identical floor length empire gowns of crepe in shades of blue, green, apricot, and yellew with flowing trains and matching headpieces. Each carried a cascade arrangement of matching carnations and ivy leaves.

Richard Rhode, Greenwood, was best man, Dennis Dux, Loyal. Eugene McCann, Milwaukee, and Edward Brandt, oconomoc, wee groomsmen.

Ushering the wedding guests were Jerry and Edward Noeldner, Loyal.

A reception was held at the bride's parent's Home wth a wedding dinner at the church dining hall. A dance was held that evening at the Silver Dome Ballroom.

The bride is a 1965 graduate of Loyal High School and was employed by A.O. Smith Corp., Menominee Falls.

The groom is a 1966 graduate of Custer High School and is an apprentice lithographer at American Can Company.

After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin the couple will reside at 10315 W. Greenfield, West Allis.
