Miss Florence Emily Schneider, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Schneider Sr. of Colby, and Everett Dale Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Johnson of route 1, Ogema, exchanged their marriage vows Saturday, July 23, at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby. The summer choir sang for the 1:30 o’clock nuptial high mass at which the Rev. Ambrose Blenker officiated.

The flowers which adorned the altars were supplied by the mother of the bride.

The bride appeared in a floor length gown of Chantilly lace over taffeta. The basque bodice featured a jewel trimmed round neckline. The full skirt of lace was highlighted with an insertion of nylon tulle with roses in front and alternating tiers of lace and nylon tulle in the back. Her bouffant veil was secured to rows of lace edged with pearl and accented with aurora borealis. Red roses and white carnations were combined in the bridal bouquet.

The bride’s attendants were attired alike in blue taffeta street length dresses with long sleeves and lace jackets and white patent leather shoes. They wore double string necklaces of aurora borealis and small headpieces with aurora borealis crystals.
