------ West Side Store Sold to W. Lipprandt (1966)

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lipprandt, Curtiss, have purchased the West Side Store at Abbotsford from Mr. and Mrs. John Fecker.

The effective date of the sale was Sept. 21. Mr. and Mrs. Lipprandt are now operating the store, and expect to move into the adjoining living quarters within the next few weeks.

The Lipprandts operated Wally’s Bar in Curtiss for the past six years. Prior to that they had a tavern at Curtiss corners for nine years.

Mr. and Mrs. Fecker had operated the West Side Store for nearly 10 years. They plan to retire and are in the process of moving from the living quarters at the store into the former Norman Hug home at Abbotsford.

The Lipprandts plan to keep the store open until 9 p.m. during the week. Week end hours will be announced soon.
