The Dorcas Sewing Circle will meet with the Misses Mabel and Alice Strommen on Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Helen Nichol and son arrived here from Madison on Tuesday for a few days visit with friends.

Miss Hazel Barr returned from Wausau Monday, where she spent a few days with her sister.

Charles Smith returned from Bruce last Thursday, where he spent several days at the home of his brother, Paul.

Mrs. Beulah Olson and two daughters of Madison are visiting friends here.

Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Soule and children returned to Stevens Point Monday, after visiting several days at the M.E. Kenyon home.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Haeuser took their daughter Joyce to Marshfield yesterday to have her tonsils removed.

Rev. Wm. Loos and family of Charlotte, N.D. spent Sunday with Mrs. Emma Loos and family.

Frank Roberts and family of Lake Mills called at the E. Bowen home last Thursday.

I have opened the Schwarze Blacksmith and am prepared to do all kinds of blacksmith. Horseshoeing is a specialty. Robert McGregor.

Peter Blum and Mrs. Paul Blum of Marshfield spent Friday here at the Merkel and Warner home.

Russell Masters and family left Sunday by auto for Rapid City, S.D., where they will spend several weeks with Mrs. Masters' folks.

Miss E.E. Sweet of Milwaukee is visiting here at the home of her sister, Mrs. A.J. Currie.

Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Drummond and Mrs. John Wuethrich and children autoed to Necedah Sunday for a visit with relatives and friends.

Mrs. William Walter and daughter Irene spent the day at Neillsville on Saturday.

Irvin Leach, Carl Schwarze and Don Warner left by auto Monday for a week's tour through the northern part of the state.

Mrs. Oscar Macknick entertained the Larkin Club at her home Monday evening. A delicious luncheon was served and all report a pleasant time.

Mr. and Mrs. John Mac arrived Sunday for a visit with their daughter, Mrs. Jim Fradette and family.

Carl Zimmerman and family returned home Monday from a few days visit with his relatives at Reedsburg, Wis.

Sam Busby, who has been spending the summer here, returned to ho his home in Ohio yesterday.

Geo. Kitelinger and family, accompanied by Charles Anderson of Montfort, Wis., returned to their home Tuesday, after a few days stay at the A. Dahl home.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson and two daughters Irene and Lorraine of Gilman, spent Sunday here at the Gund…? Home.

Jack Fahey is sure some fisherman. Last Thursday Jack caught a 16 1/2 pound Muskie. Several weeks ago he caught an 18 pounder. Both fish were caught near the dam.

Mrs. C.B. Mulligan and daughter of Marshfield spent several days of last week here at the home of Mrs. Millie Smith.

Mr. and Mrs. Larson of Waupaca and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hansen of Owen spent Sunday at the Arbs home.
