About 25 neighbors and friends gathered at the Aug. Stabnow home Tuesday. The occasion was Mrs. Stabnow's birthday. The cake, baked by Mrs. R. Walter, was a beauty and oh so good! We won't tell just how many candles were on it, but it was certainly the prettiest and best cake imaginable. Mrs. Stabnow was presented with many useful and beautiful gifts, and all left wishing her many happy returns.
