The bride wore a gown of white nylon sheer over taffeta with fabric roses. Her veil of bridal illusion was held by a headpiece of white roses, and she carried a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis.

Attending the bride were Mrs. Donald Pecher, Athens, sister of the bride, maid of honor; and Kathleen and Molly Orlikowski, Athens, sisters of the bride. Ushers were Clement Pecher, Marshfield, and Alex Orlikowski Jr., Athens.

The bride’s attendants wore light and dark blue sheath dresses of nylon sheer over taffeta and carried white mums and pompons.

About 272 guests were present for the reception, dinner and dance at the Rib River Ballroom following the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of Athens high school, and is now employed at Marathon Cheese Corp., Marathon. The groom is an Abbotsford high school graduate who recently completed a four-year tour of duty with the marines and is now attending Wausau technical institute.
