Zuege, E. Dale (? - 30 May 1973)

Funeral services were held in Madison Saturday morning for E. Dale Zuege, 52, former Neillsville and Granton Resident, who died there May 30 of an apparent heart attack.

A native of Loyal and graduate of Neillsville High School, Mr. Zuege had been employed in the Madison area for several years. On his graduation from high school, he enlisted in the army and was stationed on the Aleutian Islands throughout World War II.

A few months after his discharge he enlisted in the Sea Bee reserves at Madison and was called into active duty with that organization during the Korean Conflict. During that period he served at Port AuPrince, in the Caribbean.

Surviving are three sons, Jon, Kurt and Gary, all of the Madison area, and two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Dorene) Harvey of Neillsville and Mrs. Donald (Verna) Kadlecek of Racine.

Attending the services in Madison were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harvey and daughter, Jane Slaats, of Neillsville and another daughter and grandchildren, Mrs. Gregory (Cheryl) Kienzle, Kurt and Korey of Webster City, Ia.
