The following surprised little Peggy Lynn Burzynski at her home on Wednesday evening, Nov. 8: Mr. and Mrs. John Bonczyk, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wnek, Nancy and Billy Arciszewski, Damin Connolly, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ciolkosz and son Ronald, Mr. and Mrs. Eddy Ciolkosz, son Jimmy and daughters Rosanne and Judy, Mr. Frank Burzynski, the occasion being Peggy's 4th birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Guy Stewart of Withee called on Mrs. Frank Stewart Friday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Przybylski visited with Mrs. Peter Burzynski and Peggy on Thursday.

Mrs. Clara Ebben spent the weekend at the Jim Sneen home in Eau Claire.

Mrs. Kate Van Loo and Mrs. Jeanette Bogumill visited with Mr. and Mrs. Annie Huls in Chippewa Falls on Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. John J. Osowski received word that their son, Pfc. Tom J. Osowski, arrived at Vietnam Oct. 25. His address is: Pfc. Tom J. Osowski RZ16976371 1st Bn. 44th Arty, A. Battery Apo.

Mrs. Jon Spivak of Washington, D.C. spent two days with Mrs. Bertha Dudansky at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Mr. John Bujalski and Danny Zudal of Chicago stopped at the home of Mr. and John Hickman, on their way to a trip in Minnesota on Thursday.

Mrs. Joe Gorla of Conrath and Mrs. Bertha Dudansky spent Sunday with Mrs. Fran Stigen at Withee.

Dale Ebben of Waunakee, Wis., spent the weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delton Ebben.

Bob Butek of Belvidere, Ill., spent the weekend home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Butek, returning back to work Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Grendys Jr. and daughters are spending a week's vacation at the Frank Grendys Sr. home.

Mr. and Mrs. John Mathwig and daughter are visiting at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Kokaly in Thorp and the Dr. Mathwig home in Stanley.

Mrs. Frank Grendys Sr. and Mrs. Frank Grendys Jr. visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Kokaly in Thorp.

Mrs. Casey Kubiszewski, Mrs. John Mathwig and Jill, Mrs. Rudy Kokaly visited at the Jim Vitort home Sunday.

Mrs. Bertha Kurcab returned to her home in Cicero, Ill., after spending some time in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Casey Kubiszewski.

Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Nevala and son Mark, Menomonie, visited at the T.J. Nevala home Friday evening.

Donald Nevala and Harold Thone, Fond du Lace, spent the weekend at the T.J. Nevala home.

Mrs. T.J. Nevala called on Mrs. Donald Marshall Friday afternoon.
