Finder, Betty J. (13 FEB 1935 – 14 NOV 2014)

Betty Finder, age 79, of Neillsville, WI died Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville.

Betty Jane Finder was born on February 13, 1935 in Neillsville, WI the daughter of George and Pearl (Osborn) Ebbe. She attended school in Neillsville and united in marriage to Walter Finder on June 22, 1957 in Neillsville. She worked for over 30 years in the housekeeping department of the Memorial Medical Center. Walter died on December 29, 1972.

Betty loved spending time with family and friends and was always ready to spend time visiting with a good cup of coffee. Her greatest blessing was her great grandson, Nolan, who was always ready with a hug and an "I Love You". Children were her passion; she enjoyed spending time with Abbi and Macy Elmhorst her "little helpers". In her later years she enjoyed bird watching, Cardinals being her favorite. She collected glassware of any kind. Over the years she collected many special pieces and, no, her kids did not break any!

She is survived by three children, Barbara Finder of Neillsville, WI, Mary (Curt) Fellenz of Marshfield, WI and Steve Finder of Neillsville. One granddaughter, Randee (Adam) Fellenz-Genett, two great grandchildren, Nolan and Lydia Genett and many nieces and nephews, her favorite Margaret Michalak always held a special place in her heart!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, a sister-in-law, Mable Kozlowski, her parents and her siblings.

A Graveside Service for Betty will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Neillsville City Cemetery. Pastor Joe Weiers will officiate. After the service, a luncheon will be held in the fellowship hall of the United Church of Christ in Neillsville.
