Untiedt, Marlene "Molly" F. (Teske) (17 OCT 1941 - 9 JAN 2015)

Marlene "Molly" F. Untiedt, 73, Edgar, died Friday, January 9, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born October 17, 1941 in the town of Berlin, Wis., daughter of the late Clifford and Marie (Moeck) Teske.

On September 25, 1965, she married DuWayne "Ditto" Untiedt at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2010.

For 18 years, Molly worked for the Edgar Public Schools as an administrative assistant and teacher's aide, and also worked for the Edgar Village Office and the Bank of Edgar. She was co-chairman for the Edgar Centennial, worked with the Girl Scout Program, and was proudly named Citizen of the Year.

Molly worked with the Edgar Historical Society, served as secretary on the church council, helped coordinate the Vacation Bible Study Program and was a member of the Circle of Joy. For many years, she was a member of the Edgar Lions Club and was past president of the Edgar Lioness Club. Overall, Molly was a community volunteer and also enjoyed working with the Easter Egg Hunt and the Edgar Area Garage Sales. Among some of her favorite pastimes, she loved flower gardening, crocheting, crafts and puzzles. Most of all, she loved being a "Grandma".

Survivors include, four daughters, Colleen (Dan) Dvorak, Edgar, Linda (Brian) Gottshalk, Wausau, Penny (Jim) Fons, Edgar and Patty (Ben) Kohel, Edgar; ten grandchildren, Mollie Jo, Mitchell, Lindsey, Shannon, Morgan, Madison, Simon, Jace, Wade and Reid; three great-grandchildren, Ava, Jaxson and Asher; four siblings, Raymond Teske, Wausau, Margie (Ed) Sandstrom, Windsor, MaryAnn (Allen) Aschbrenner, Athens and Marilyn (Brian) Luedtke, Merrill; one sister-in-law, Audrey Untiedt, Edgar; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, DuWayne, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jean Ann.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church, Edgar. Rev. Gail Sowell will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday from Noon until time of services at the church. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Becky and all the wonderful staff at Our House in Wausau for the exceptional care, comfort, love and kindness for Molly and her family.
