Miss Becky May Doehr, route 2, Spencer and Mr. Gary Rand, route 1, Chili (Clark Co., Wis.), exchanged wedding vows on Friday, Aug. 8, 1969, at 1:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Chili. The rev. Roland Roehrs officiated.

Michael Tucker played the organ and Mrs. Russell Lang sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “O Perfect Love.”

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Doehr, route 2, Spencer, and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Rand, route 1, Chili.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an organza A-line gown with a scooped neckline. Venice lace daisies, centered with aurora crystals and pearls banded the bell sleeves and arched waist and also bordered the built in full chapel train. Individual lace daisies were scattered on the bodice and skirt. Her three-tiered fingertip veil was secured to a pillbox crown. She carried a cascade arrangement of carnations entwined with foliage and ivy.

Mrs. Daniel Metko, Appleton, was the matron of honor, and Mrs. Russell Lang, Spencer and Mrs. Roy Wesenburg, route 1, Marshfield, were the brides matrons.

The aides were seen in punch orange pleated, floor length gowns of sheer over taffeta, and carried foliage cascade arrangements of bronze chrysanthemums. Their Camelot headpieces held blush veils.

Paula Wesenburg was the miniature bride and was dressed identically to that of the bride. Daryl Doehr was the ring bearer.

Attending the groom as best man was Daniel Metko. Groomsmen were Russell Lang and Roy Wesenburg.

Howard Rand, Marshfield and Arwin Beil, Chili, ushered the guests.

A reception and supper for 150 guests was held at the Eagles Hall in Marshfield, with a dance that evening there also.

The bride is a 1969 graduate of Loyal High Schoool and is employed by Lakeland Manufacturing at Sheboygan.

The groom attended Granton High School and graduated in the Army. He is employed at Kohler at Kohler.

After a wedding trip to the southern states the couple will reside at Sheboygan.
