Wessel, Louis Ann (18 OCT 1969)

Miss Lois Ann Wessel of 1431 N. 31st Street, Milwaukee, daughter of Mrs. Theodore Wessel and the late Theodore Wessel , Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), married Saturday, Oct. 18, 1969, to James Wachsmuth Jr. of Milwaukee, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Wachsmuth, Gilman.

She was given in marriage by her brother Allan at 1:30 in the Immanuel United Church of Christ. Rev. David Logue performed the double ring ceremony. Miss Susan Hoeper sang the Lord's Prayer and Mrs. Leona Albert was the organist.

A metallic brocade princess line dress with a train was worn by the bride. A pearl headpiece with fingertip veil completed her dress. She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and ferns.

Attendants of the couple included Mrs. Judy Wessel, Greenwood, as maid of honor, Miss Phyllis Franz, Milwaukee and Miss Lind Bolf, Greenwood, bridesmaid. They wore A-line gold crepe dresses with brocaded velvet bodice and carried a single chrysanthemum. Roger Johnson, Milwaukee, was best man, and Tony Grabowski, Milwaukee, and Charles Wachsmuth, Gilman were groomsmen.

Roger Tieman and Jerome Franz did ushering duties.

Following church service a reception and dance took place at Koolmo's Hall in Gilman.

Mrs. Wachsmuth is a 1965 graduate of Greenwood High School and Eau Claire Technical School. She is employed at Weyenberg Shoe Company of Milwaukee. Her husband is a 1965 graduate of Gilman High School and is a welder at the Rose Company in Milwaukee.

They are making their home at 1431 N. 31 Street, Milwaukee.
