Humbird School (1932 Class Reunion - 1973)

Another class reunion was held Saturday in the local park. A noon dinner was enjoyed and an afternoon of ‘Do you remember’ and letters read made an enjoyable affair for those present, from the class of 41 years ago.

The picnic dinner was brought by those attending. Now finding only one table under the shelter, one was borrowed and all went well, hot coffee and punch being served. There were several invited guests.

Those present of the class were: Dick Risalock of Eau Claire; George Dimmitt, Humbird; Bernard Babler, Chicago; Dot (Stevens) Kaueff, Great Falls, Mt.; Emma (Stevens) Mitchell, Colfax; Rigina (Bell) Johnson of Boulder, Col.; Ruth (Hein) Jeffery of Scott City, Kan.; Margaret (Newton) Tichy of Mundelein, Il.

Others present were: Mrs. Dick Risalock, Mrs. George Dimmitt, Steve Tichy, Bennie Hart; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moore of Arizona and Maude Newton.

Nettie Bobling, one, of the class, was unable to come as her husband was ill. Two have passed away, Milton Winscher and Maybelle Lightfoot.
