Born Dec. 11, 1872 at Milwaukee, she was raised and received her education in that community. On Feb. 22, 1905 she was married to the late Edward Green, who passed away in 1924. She taught school in the area for many years, served as president of the parent-teachers association, was active in the ladies aid society of her parish and a past president of the helping hand society. For many years she served her parish as a Sunday school teacher.
