Smart, Diane E. (Marriage - 26 October 1973)

Wearing a satin and lace bridal gown she fashioned herself, Miss Diane E. Smart repeated marriage vows with Daniel M. Foeba October 26 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, before the Rev. Jacob Burggraf. Mr. and Mrs. Lea Smart, Rt. 1 Dorchester and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Froeba, Loyal, presented their children in marriage.
A reception followed at The Sword.

Sequins and pearls trimmed the neckline of the bride’s gown, which was complimented by a full-length Camelot style veil edged in lace. her flowers were red roses, carnations and lilies of the valley.

Attending the bride were Carol Smart, Dorchester, as maid of honor and Jeannie Beaver, Loyal, as bridesmaid. Their princess style gowns of baby blue knit, accented by white collar, waistline and cuff trim, were made by the bride. They carried baskets of blue and purple fall flowers.

Lawrie Beaver, Loyal, served as bestman and Darrell Underwood, Colby, as groomsman. Larry Smart, Stevens Point ushered.

Ringbearer Russell Smart, Dorchester, and flower girl Bonnie Beaver, Loyal, completed the wedding party.

Debbie Danen was the organist. The church choir sang.

The newlyweds, who will make their home at Mapleway Terrace, Loyal both are1973 graduates of Colby High School. The bride is employed at a Loyal food store and her husband works for a local camper manufacturer.
