Yeager, Dorothy June (28 January 1931 - 21 June 2015)

Dorothy J. Yeager, age 84, of Greenwood, died in the loving arms of her granddaughter, Megan, on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Neillsville Care & Rehab, in Neillsville. A private family burial will take place at a later date at Forest Hill cemetery, in the Town of Warner, Clark County, WI.

Dorothy June Biddle was born on January 28, 1931, in Chippewa Falls, WI, the only child of John and Clara (Osowski) Biddle. She was raised on a farm near Greenwood, and attended Greenwood schools, graduating from Greenwood High School in 1949. Dorothy was united in marriage to Donald H. Horn on October 8, 1949 at Braun Settlement Reformed Church in the Town of Warner. They farmed in the Town of Longwood and raised three children. They divorced in 1974. Dorothy later married two more times, both ending in divorce.

She had many interests, but especially enjoyed gardening, canning, knitting, embroidery, cake decorating, word find puzzles and she loved to dance.

Dorthy is survived by one daughter, Diane Klahn of Willard; one son, Daniel Horn of Arpin; her dear granddaughter, Megan (Russell) Harris; nine other grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; and one daughter-in-law, Betty Horn of Greenwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons: Donald B. Horn on April 30, 1950, and Donald James “Jim” Horn on March 12, 2013.
