Hardin, Hattie (12 June 1895 - 15 November 1973)

Funeral services were held Monday from the Niemann and Sons Funeral Home, Milwaukee, for Mrs. Edgar (Hattie) Hardin, 78, of Rt. 1 Neillsville, who died November 15. Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Milwaukee. The Georgas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements here.

Born June 12, 1895, in Lowell to John and Minnie (Haaze) Wendt, Mrs. Hardin was educated at Lowell and worked on her parents’ farm as a young woman. She was employed in a shoe factory for several years and came to Clark County in 1970. Mrs. Hardin had been confined to her home for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Mrs. Frank (Minnie) Romano of Rt. 1 Neillsville, Mrs. Wiley (Helen) Thompson of Milwaukee and E. Donald Hardin of Springfield, Va.; one brother, Alvin Wendt of Portland, Tn.; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
