Pleasant Ridge (29 November 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Vine and daughters, Lisa and Lesley, of Rolling Meadow, Il., were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Vine, and supper guests of her mother, Mrs. Campbell, in Neillsville. Supper guests at the Vine home were their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rowe and daughter, Lori Ann, of rural Granton.

Mrs. Joe Kernz, Jr., of Marshfield, Mrs. Theomore Vine and Mrs. George Kuehn attended funeral services Friday in Fairchild for Mrs. Archie Bequette.

Weekend visitors at the George Erickson home were Miss Donna Erickson of Eau Claire, Joe Bill of Minneapolis, Mn, Milton Erickson of Chicago, Il., and daughter, Lynne, of Indianapolis, In., and Carole Barth and daughter, Noel, of Chicago. Also joining the group for a Thanksgiving dinner Satruday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cook and family and Mr. and Mrs. Don Erickson.

Mrs. Betty Currin spent Thanksgiving Day and the holiday weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Matousek, and returned to her home in Chicago, Il., on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Gorden Penrod and daughter, Teresa, of Effingham, Il., who arrived Wednesday to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theomore Vine, returned home again Sunday. Thanksgiving Day dinner guests at the Vine home also included Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gerhardt of North Hudson, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Vine and family, Mr. and Mrs. David Vine and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Gerhardt and Kenny.

Visitors at the Vern G. Howard home for Thanksgiving and the holiday weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Vern H. Howard and three children of Brookfield and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zieroth and three sons of Waconia, Mn. Dean and Dwayne Larsen, the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Larsen, spent Monday afternoon with the Howards.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rowe of Rt. 1 Granton, entertained Saturday evening in honor of the upcoming first birthday of their daughter, Lori Ann. Those present included Mr. and Mrs. Dale Vine and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Vine and family of Rolling Meadows, Il., and Mr. and Mrs. Irving Vine, Harold , Kenneth and Ronnie.
