Greenwood (6 December 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilhelm and family of Milwaukee spent a few days recently with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tolaney.

Mr. and Mrs. Orville Hoffman of Milwaukee have returned home after a few days visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Noah.

Mr. and Mrs. John Tolaney and family have returned to Milwaukee after spending a weekend at the Leroy Kesler home.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Schwarze and family of Rochester, Mn., and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schwarze spent several days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Novell of Milwaukee spent a recent weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kuester.

Mrs. Harry Plunkett is a patient at the Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Sautebin have moved from the Geisler apartment into the former St. Mary’s rectory, which they purchased recently.

Charles Bravda, Mrs. Angeline Jeras, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jeras and family of Lyon, Il., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tolaney from Wednesday through Sunday last week.

Rick Kuester has returned to Bell Plain, Ia., after spending nine days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kuester, and with his brother, Tom Kuester, and family of Loyal, and his sister, Mrs. Jay La Bonte, and family in Chippewa Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Humke in Rochester, Mn., from Thursday until Saturday.

Supper guests Sunday at the Ewald Schwarze home were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krapf, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zorman, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krapf, Jr., and family of Milwaukee.

Mr. and Mrs. Orville Hoffman of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Karlen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Noah were recent guests at the Herbert Noah home.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Vine of Janesville spent from Friday until Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Christie.

Mrs. Angeline Jeras, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jeras and family and Charles Bravda of Lyon, Il., and Richard and Mary Jo Verschay of La Crosse, were dinner guest Friday at the Joe Verschay home.

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Schaper of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Erna Lemke, Mrs. Marie Jeras and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Isaacson of Marshfield were recent guests of the Sam Grap home.

Larry Hendrickson of Madison spent the hunting season with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hendrickson. Mrs. Dennis McCarty, who was called here by the illness of her mother, Mrs. Harry Plunkett, returned to Park Forest, Il., Saturday after spending a week at the Plunkett home with her father and with her mother, who is in Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mrs. Sylvester Hinker and Billy, visited Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kaiser in Rozellville.

Mrs. Truman Hill, Mrs. George Plautz and Mrs. Bud Felix visited in Wausau Friday.

Dinner guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. David Friske were Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Friske, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rossow, Bernard Friske, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Friske and daughter Faye, of Whitehall, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Weber and family of Round Lake Beach, Il.

Delos Hill of Berwyn, Il., Charles hill, Bob Ivey and Darrell Dahlke of Madison, and friends from Chicago who spent the hunting season in the Greenwood area, were dinner guests Thursday at the Truman Hill home. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. George Hoehne and the Hill’s daughters, Trudy and Judy Hill, of Madison.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett and family of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. George Plunkett and family of Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Plunkett and family of Chippewa Falls, and Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Plunkett of La Crosse were recent guests of their father, Harry Plunkett and spent time with their mother, who was in Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Speich of Eau Claire spent last Thursday with his mother, Mrs. Jake Speich and sister, Violet.
