Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie visited Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dunn in Eau Claire.

Dinner guests Saturday at the home of Mrs. William Kuester were Mr. and Mrs. Mark Wolk and family of Stevens point who spent the weekend with her grandmother and her daughter, Mrs. Douglas Luther of Merrill, and her son, Leon Kuester and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Toburen.

The Canasta Neighborhood Club met Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Henry Vollrath.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Romang of Athens visited Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson.

Mrs. Palmer Vinger, Mrs. Glen Drew, Mrs. William Kavanaugh and Mrs. Don Warner attended a bridge luncheon Thursday at the home of Mrs. Jennie Tufts in Neillsville.

Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Braun were their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Wittiver, and daughter, Wendy of Marion, Ia.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Telford and daughters of Eau Claire, and Mrs. Florence Telford of Thorp, visited Mrs. Don Warner Satruday evening.

Mrs. Douglas Luther returned Sunday to Merrill after spending the weekend with her mother, Mrs. William Kuester, and with her brother, Leon Kuester and family.

The Bible study group met Thursday morning at the home of Mrs. Fred Clintsman.

Mrs. Carl Stabnow entertained members of the Intersee Club at her home Wednesday evening.

Mrs. Hazel Helwig and Mrs. Leota Murphy left Monday for Farmington, N. M., where they will spend the winter months with Mrs. Murphy’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lavon Johnstone.

Mrs. Edith Stafford left Saturday to spend the balance of December in Neenah at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Stafford.

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Horn and son, Gary, of La Crosse, were weekend guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Horn.

Miss Ritajean Carteron of Highland Park was dismissed Thursday from a Marshfield hospital, where she was a surgical patient. She is recuperating at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Carteron.

The confirmation class held a Christmas party Saturday at Immanuel United Church. They will have a recess and the next meeting will be held January 6 at 9 a. m.

Miss Judith Brux has returned to Antigo, where she teaches and her sister, Monica, returned to Marshfield, after spending the weekend at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux.

Mrs. Arthur Stewart of Withee visited Tuesday afternoon at the Robert Stewart home.

Donald Berthold was dismissed Saturday from a Marshfield hospital, where he was a surgical patient.

Weekend and Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Vollrath were: Mr. and Mrs. William Rodgers and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Jones and daughter, Angela, of Redgranite; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Vollrath and son, Randy, and Miss Linda Kocher. Sunday evening, the Immanuel Church youth group sang a birthday song and carols in honor of Ernest Vollraths birthday.

The Youth Fellowship and Young Adult groups of Immanuel United Church went Christmas caroling Sunday evening and returned to the church later for refreshments. Hostesses were Mrs. Delmain Toburen and Mrs. Donald Noeldner.

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Stewart and children, Cindy, John and Mary Lou, and his mother, mrs. Robert Stewart, attended a piano and guitar recital given by their brother and son, Robert Stewart, at Stanley Sunday afternoon. John participated with a guitar solo.

The Senior Citizens of Clark County steering committee held their Christmas party Monday, with a dinner at the Clark Electric Auditorium at noon.

Mrs. Olaf Johnson has moved into the Black River apartments from her home on Andrews Avenue.

Mr and Mrs. Harlan Brux and family were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kowieski in Auburndale.

The Good evening Social Club held a Christmas dinner meeting at the home of Mrs. Leona Syth Wednesday evening.

The Wednesday afternoon Bridge Club met at the home of Mrs. John Lindner.

The Bridgettes Club will be entertained the (Thursday) evening at the home of Mrs. Don Warner.

Monday evening guests at the Ernest Vollrath home were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Timmler of Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath.
