Poler, Madelene (27 November 1891 - 21 January 1974)

Funeral services were held Thursday from the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. William (Madelene) Poler, 82, of Memorial Home who died January 21. Rev. Gary Clark of the United Church of Christa officiated and burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Clay Poler, Charles Henne, Allen Kleinhans, Roger Williams, Andrew Beck and Marvin Williams. Mrs. Steve Knoop sang “How Great Thou Art” and “We’ll Never Say Goodbye.” The organist was Mrs. James Musil.

Among those who attended the services were Mrs. Poler’s children and families: Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Helen) Kapfer of West Bend; Mrs. Lois Mathews and daughter, Sara Jo, of Lake Geneva; Mr. and Mrs. George (Ardis) Sherwood of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Oliver (Hazel) Williams and sons, Wendell and Marvin, of Granton; Mrs. Ethel Henne of Lomira; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Poler, Shelly, Mellissa and Jenni, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Poler and son, Clay, West Bend.
