Herrick, Anna (3 April 1885 - 3 February 1974)

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday morning from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood, for Mrs. Jack (Anna) Herrick, 88, of Willard who died in Neillsville early Sunday morning. The Rev. Michael Mertens of Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard was to officiate and burial was to be in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Hill funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were: Scott Herrick, Greg Herrick, Randy Susa, Robert Murphy, Patrick Herrick, Brian Hawley, all grandsons.

Mrs. Herrick, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pintar, was born April 3, 1885, in Yugoslavia. Her marriage to Jack Herrick took place July 26, 1902, in Kansas. The couple came to Willard area in 1914, and Mrs. Herrick resided there until entering Memorial Home in August of 1973. Mr. Herrick preceded his wife in death on December 28, 1965.

Surviving are seven daughters: Mrs. Richard (Joan) Noah of Greenwood, Mrs. Oliver (Donna) Smith of St. Paul, Minnn., Mrs. Harold (Lucille) Hawley of Milwaukee, Mrs. Dean (Frances) Murphy of Herscher, Il., Mrs. Mary Holmes of Santa Monica, Ca., Mrs. David (Eva) Hallowell of Camarillo, Ca., and mrs. Anna Petkovsek of Peoria, Il.; six sons: Robert of Willard, Edward of Vossier City, La., Charles of Greenwood, Florian of Colby, Jack of Stillwater, Mn, and Joe of St. John’s, Newfoundland; and 26 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
