Phillips, Clarence (25 Mar 1891- 24 February 1974)

Word was received Sunday morning of the death of Clarence Phillips, at the nursing home in Neillsville. He was a World War I Veteran and funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the United Methodist Church. He was a member of Melcher-Matti Post No. 320 of the American Legion. The Rev. Otas Botts will officiate. Immediate survivors are his two daughters. Burial will be in the family lot in Mentor Cemetery. Members of the American Legion Auxiliary are serving the lunch after the services in the dining area of the church.
