F.W. Schrimpton and Jacob Volk, nominees for alderman are each hustling hard working businessmen, who have likewise had the advantages of wide acquaintance in various places.

Mr. Schrimpton is a successful miller, having followed his trade in Nebraska, Kansas, Michigan and Wisconsin, and is one of the heaviest stockholders and manager of the Greenwood Roller Mill Co.

Mr. Volk is a successful merchant tailor, who had the aggressiveness to locate in a small town, and by diligent work and up-to-date business methods, built up a trade that reaches far beyond Greenwood's natural trade radius.
