Hagenson, Kelsey “Bug” (29 May 1997 - 21 September 2015)

Kelsey “Bug” Hagenson, 18, of Stanley, died Monday, September 21, 2015, in an accident in Duluth, MN. He was born on May 29, 1997, in Eau Claire to Eugene and Amy (Hempleman) Hagenson. Bug was raised in the Stanley area and graduated from Stanley-Boyd High this year. He was working with Lunda Construction. Bug enjoyed the outdoors: hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling, and just hanging out with family and friends.

He is survived by his father, Eugene (Kelly) Hagenson of Sheridan, IL; his mother, Amy Ogle of Minneapolis, MN; his step-dad, Tim (Sutton Plombon) Ogle of Stanley; his maternal grandfather, Tom Hempleman of Thorp; his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Donna Hagenson of Stanley; his step-grandmother, Louise Ogle of Ladysmith; his siblings: Kayla Ogle of Thorp, Kyle Ogle of Stanley, and Brianna Hagenson of Ottawa, IL; special friend, Danielle Szymanski; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Bug is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Shirley Hempleman; and step-grandfather, Arnold Ogle.

A Celebration of Kelsey’s life took place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley. Burial took place in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Huron. Visitation was held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to services Saturday morning.
