Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Johnson.

Romadka homemakers are to meet today (Thursday) with Mrs. William Naedler, Sr. Dessert will precede the meeting.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Adler and baby daughter, Amy, of Waukegan, Il., spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Otto Schmidtke.

The York Center community club is to meet Wednesday, March 20, at the Glen Lavey home.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ganther and her sister, Mrs. Elaine Downer, left Friday morning to spend the weekend at Prescott, where they visited also with the Dave Zerahn family. Miss Margo Ganther of Cambridge, Mn., also joined them for the weekend. In the Ganthers’ absence, Mrs. Floyd Pietenpol spent the weekend with Miss Ruth Pietenpol.

Lenten services were to be held Wednesday evening at the York Center United Methodist church. The Mid-week series are held on alternate Wednesdays at the York Center and Loyal United Methodist churches.

Mrs. William Wolf and daughter, Jill, of Nekoosa visited with her mother, Mrs. Myrtie Davis, last Tuesday on the occasion of Jill’s fourth birthday.

The Friendship club was to meet Tuesday evening with Mr. Otto Schmidtke.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Trimberger visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schlinsog Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Horrace Hack of Marshfield were dinner guests at the Trimberger home Thursday.

Granton Homemakers are to meet this (Thursday) afternoon with Mrs. William Weichelt.

A pink and blue shower honoring Mrs. Kenneth Schultz was to be held Tuesday evening at the Frank Ule home.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Braatz and family of Plover were weekend visitors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoeft.

York Sew and So homemakers are to meet at noon today (Thursday) with Mrs. Bernice Tucker as hostess at the Freda Frischman home.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helm and son Donald, of Marion spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Seefeldt in Melrose.

The birthdays of Harold Ratsch, Gerald Ratsch and Mrs. Roger Lau were observed Sunday afternoon with a gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ratsch on Rt. 1 Greenwood. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Roger Lau and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ratsch of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ratsch and family , Mr. and Mrs. Dale Riedel and Mrs. Elsie Sternitzky.

Mrs. Arlerie Schlinsog of Milwaukee visited with her father, Walter Schlinsog over the weekend.
