Columbia (28 March 1974)

Alice Smith, Hewett Town Clerk and Heart Fund chairman, informs us that a total of $22 has been collected and sent to the Wisconsin Heart Fund Association in Milwaukee.

It was 10 degrees below zero Saturday morning at six o’clock in the lowlands.

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Vornholt of Neillsville visited Georgeana and William Schulz last week Monday evening.

Roy Bailke, who resides with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Winter in Pine Valley, visited Mr. and Mrs. William Sollberger Friday forenoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Endel drove to Wisconsin Rapids Tuesday, where they visited friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Winter of Pine Valley and Mr. and Mrs. William Rieder were guests Saturday evening at the Norbert Endel home, where the birthdays of Mrs. Winter and Mr. Rieder were observed.

Donald Ayers of Solon Springs visited at the Endel home Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Endel were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bertz in Loyal Sunday.

Roger Peterson of Ripon and several friends spent the weekend in Columbia.
