Morrow, Esther (30 NOV 1897 – 7 APR 1957)

Mrs. M.V. (Esther) Morrow, daughter of Nettie and the late Wm. Eggett, was born in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), Nov. 30, 1897. Here she received her education and taught school in Clark County.

On April 21, 1920 she was united in marriage to M.V. Morrow at Fond du Lac. They resided at Owen before moving to Spencer in 1935. Mr. Morrow passed away on Jan. 1, 1947.

Mrs. Morrow was a member of the Methodist Church, Its Women's Society for Christian Service, the Spencer Legion Auxiliary and Women's Club, the Marshfield VFW Auxiliary.

She passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield on Sunday, April 7, 1957, following a week's illness.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11th at the Spencer Methodist Church. The Rev. Roger Knutsen officiated. Burial was made in the West Spencer Cemetery.

Mrs. Morrow is survived by five children: Mrs. Wm. (Myrtle) Metzger, Wis. Rapids; Robert Morrow, Atlantic, Va.; Robert(?) Morrow, Marshfield; Mrs. Lowell (Lorraine) Ives, Stevens Point; James Morrow, Spencer; six grandchildren; her mother, who married E.N. Cox following the death of Mr. Eggett; two brothers, Paul and Robert Eggett, Spokane, Wash; one sister, Mrs. Eva Aernam, Salinas, Calif., and an aunt, Miss Minnie Eggett, Greenwood.

Her father, her husband, and one brother preceded her in death.
