Helen Stewart, President of the Greenwood High School Student Council, turned over the new Cynthia Einfeldt Mathematics Ward plaque to Principal Clifton Fonstad. The plaque will be hung in the school.

The Cynthia Einfeldt Award portrait is a memorial for Mrs. Einfeldt, who taught for a number of years before her death a year ago. The Student Council, in planning a suitable memorial for this outstanding teacher and friend of young people, wanted a memorial that would perpetuate the memory of her work. The Cynthia Einfeldt Memorial Award consists of a permanent plaque on which the name of the recipient each year will be engraved, and a medal which the recipient will receive to keep. The award will be presented at graduation each year.
