Pokalus, Mary (9 SEP 1903 – 10 JAN 1969)

Mary Pokalus, 65, Milwaukee, died Friday, January 10, 1969, at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Milwaukee.

Services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, Tuesday, January 14, at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. John Olson officiated, and burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The Lulloff Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.

The former Mary Engeldinger was born September 9, 1903. She married Emil Pokalus, who died in 1953.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Bernice) Aliota of Milwaukee and Mrs. Mary Zettel of Alexandria, Virginia, and eight grandchildren.

A rosary was said at St. Mary’s Monday, January 13 at 8 p.m.
