Pleasant Ridge (16 May 1974)
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zieroth and family of Waconia, Mn, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vern G. Howard.
Mrs. Harold Drescher and Mrs. Irving Vine represented the Pleasant Ridge Homemakers Club at the food preservation workshop in Merrill last Wednesday. The club will meet Wednesday evening, May 22, at the home of Mrs. Ruben Hantke. This is a change from the originally scheduled May 23 meeting. Members are to bring dairy dessert bars and recipes.
Weekend visitors at the Ed Lezotte home were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Lezotte and son of Sheboygan Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Roman Huppert of Prescott.
Miss Shirley Magnuson of Minneapolis, Mn, spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Ella Magnuson.
Billy Kuehn of Sana Susana, Ca, is spending a week at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Kuehn, and also visiting with other relatives in the area. Mr. Kuehn came especially to spend Mother’s day with his mother, Mrs. Ella Kuehn, who is a resident at Memorial Home.
The Pleasant Ridge Circle of the Neillsville United Methodist Church met Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Lewis Scholtz in Neillsville. Members are studying “Genesis and the Space Age.”
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Raebel entertained Sunday in honor of their daughter, Jay, who was confirmed that morning at Calvary Lutheran Church. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. David Counsell and family and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Kwasniewski of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Counsell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Counsell, Miss Linda Diers and John Donahue.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Vine and Ronnie were Mother’s Day supper guests at the Dale Vine home.
Mother’s Day dinner guests at the Bill Cook home were Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Cook, Mr. and Mrs. George Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Don Erickson, Miss Donna Erickson and Joe Bill.
