Dorothy Krultz is Greenwood High School's 1959 Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow. She received the highest score in a 50-minute written examination on homemaking knowledge and attitudes, taken by graduating senior girls in homemaking. She will receive an attractive pin and her examination paper will be entered in competition with those of other school winners throughout the state. Each state Homemaker of Tomorrow will received a $1,500 scholarship from General Mills, an education trip with her school advisor to Washington, D.C., Colonial Williamsburg, Va., New York City and Minneapolis, and she will be a candidate fro the title of All-American Homemaker of Tomorrow. Winners are being chosen from 12,260 school throughout the nation, which enroll 349,150 senior girls. The largest number of participants in the five years history of this $106,000 scholarship program.

Dorothy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Selvian Krultz, R. 3, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). She is not only an honor student, but is a leader and very active in a variety of activities. She is currently serving as the high school chairman for the TAP March of Dimes campaign. She is editor of the school newspaper and business manager of annual. She, of course, is an active member of the Greenwood FHA Chapter. She has won awards for herr work in discussion groups and also was awarded the Quill and Scroll Award and an editorial award for her work heading the school paper staff.
