Zrutskie, Margaret M. (21 SEP 1920 – 3 MAY 2016)

Margaret M. Zrutskie, age 95, of Colby, formerly of Unity, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. A Private Memorial Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby.

Margaret was born September 21, 1920 in Phillips, the daughter of Robert and Josephine (Bosak) Kocian. She attended Rosedale Country School. Margaret was united in marriage to Harry G. Zrutskie on June 24, 1939 at Saint Peter Lutheran Church Parsonage in Dorchester. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2011.

Margaret and Harry had a three piece band known as "Margenarys Melodires" where she played the guitar and sang throughout the area including area nursing homes. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Colby and enjoyed flowers.

Margaret is lovingly survived by her children: Terry (Judith) Zrutskie of Palm Bay, FL, Linda Bruesewitz of Stratford, Dawn (Terry "Bub") Littleton of Unity and Dusty (Robbin) Zrutskie of Medford 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including her friends at Dix Apartments (formerly Midget City) and her bird, Charlie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry; a brother, three sisters; two grandsons, Tim and Shane; a great-granddaughter, Zoey; a son-in-law, Dennis Bruesewitz and her beloved dog, Pepsi.
